Our Training and Development as an Approved Training Provider

Here at Elliott Bunker, we are proud to be an Approved Training Provider for both the ACA and ACCA*. This means that we provide valuable training and support for those embarking on their professional journey to become a qualified Accountant and we are backed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

As one of the most advanced learning and professional development programmes available, both the ACA and ACCA is valued around the world in business, practice, and the public sector. The qualification takes three to five years to complete and includes the opportunity to study part-time around work commitments.

We offer all round support and tuition through the provision of a comprehensive, combined package of home and office study. Trainees also get access to a professional training provider with both face to face and online courses available. On top of that, they are assigned a designated student trainer/mentor from within the Elliott Bunker team, who is on hand and readily available to provide support and guidance when needed.

Kirsty, our current ACCA trainee, said, “Being able to work within this accountancy practice whilst I am studying is a huge advantage, as I can put the textbook learning into practice. If I have any questions, there’s always someone that will know the answer, whether that be the student trainer, or any other members of the team. They are all friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. “

Kirsty, who is about halfway through the course, went on to say, “I’m encouraged to constantly review my work, which improves my exam skills, since I am reminded to re-look at each question to ensure that I have the most appropriate and accurate answer. I have complete autonomy on the training provider I use, and have full financial support in respect of exams, formal study leave and study material. Elliott Bunker is giving me the opportunity to progress within my chosen career in becoming a valued member of the qualified team.”

The level of guidance and tuition that we provide not only prepares the trainees for their exams, but supports them in becoming a professional business advisor, which adds value to our business, and more importantly to our clients too.
